Department of Biology
Biography
Dr. Harris is interested in population ecology, specifically looking at long-term datasets and how landscape disturbance influences changes at the community level. Other interests include bird, bat and large mammal ecology and population response to disturbance. She is trained in wildlife field techniques, neotropical biodiversity and social science data collection. She is knowledgeable in
ecological data analysis using Bayesian techniques and statistical software such as R studio. She enjoys incorporating art and illustration in science communication, specifically in social media and publishing.
