Biography

Dr. Jaikishun joined the Department of Biology in 2010. Over the years he has taught several courses, including Phanerogamic and Cryptogamic Botany, Mycology, Plant Pathology, Environmental Ethics, Phycology, Taxonomy and Systematics etc. He is also responsible for supervising research at the undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels and currently serves as the Coordinator for the MSc (Forestry Biology) program. Dr. Jaikishun has jointly published in several peer-reviewed journals and books and his areas of research interests include vermitechnology, organic farming, earthworm taxonomy, environmental pollution and transcriptomic studies.
