Biography

Rovindra’s research focuses on marine and coastal ecology, fisheries management, and conservation. His current research concentrates on bycatch in small-scale fisheries in the tropics, with an emphasis on techniques to achieve sustainable fishing in our oceans. Rovindra’s teaching spans several biology courses, including Ecology, Coastal Zone Management, and Natural Resources Management, and he has been instrumental in mentoring undergraduate students.
