Ms. Penelope DeFreitas holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and post graduate diploma in Education from the University of Guyana. Ms. DeFreitas also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies. Ms. DeFreitas' research interests lie in the areas of E-Learning, Computer Science Education and Human Computer Interaction. Over the years, she has worked along with 70+ undergraduate students, helping to mold their ideas into tangible research projects. As a result of the experience gained at the undergraduate research level, several of Ms. DeFreitas' mentees managed to advance into graduate school.
